Church of the Ascension is an Episcopal Christian community in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle.
We are an open and affirming, warm and caring family of Christians who seek to live out our faith together and to welcome all who join us on our journey. On the whole, we are an outgoing parish that particularly enjoys fellowship events, which we view as a means of deepening our friendships and living out our call to community.

The cornerstone of our building was laid in 1940 and the church remains on its original site. Coombs Hall, our primary fellowship space, was the first sanctuary.
